Easter is a wonderful celebration of the Saviors birth. I love that it is in the spring and there is new life everywhere. I love reflecting on the Saviors life and all that he has done for me. I also love to spend time with family doing our silly traditions. With all that said, Easter when your kids have all grown up and gone away is different. We sent off packages to our kids who live far away, and Lloyd even had an Easter Egg hunt for Sheralee and Casey in our basement one evening when they were visiting. Thank goodness Mason, Miralva and Brooklyn came to spend some time with us. We had a great Easter picnic.
We had a picnic out at Three Peaks and went and shot guns!
Now for a few more cute chick photos. If you haven't guessed Brooklyn is one cute chick! Sheralee got these cute shots of her eating cereal.
Playing with Aunt Aubree and Uncle Jay.
She loves to play with her tongue just like her Daddy did.
We do love this little doll. She is growing up way to fast.
Grandbabies are the best and we loved these cute little pictures of Brooklyn. She is getting so grown up! Yes Easter was certainly different and sending packages and putting together baskets for your kids is much different than actually "Eastering" with them!
ReplyDeleteFamily is growing and changing for sure!
That is one cute chick, and the rest of you aren't too bad either.
ReplyDeleteI wish we could have been there for the Easter picnic, but the hunt in the basement was pretty exciting! Brooklyn is so cute! I love the pictures!
