March Madness!

Nope, not the basketball kind of madness. Just the crazy ups and downs of the LeFevre household. We do love our food and it seems like we don't even need a reason to celebrate with food. Sunday night treats seems to be a good thing at our home. Since we are so far apart when Sheralee texted a picture of her Sunday night no bake cookies, look what happened here in Cedar.....
Sometimes food is a part of our celebrations that are legitimate like these Green Eggs and Ham for Saint Patricks Day!
I had a little bit of a hard time eating green eggs, but if you close your eyes, they taste just the same:)

When we sold our spring calves in Salina we decided a trip to the temple in Manti would make it a wonderful day. We got great prices for our animals, and we got spiritually fed at the temple. We also ate at the cafeteria at the temple and it made me miss Dad! They loved eating there when they were on there mission.

We were also able to go to the temple in Saint George. It was our YSA Stake temple pie and ice cream night. It was yummy, and look at those flowers!
Getting better at taking selfies? They seem to make our faces look distorted, or is that really the way we look?
Cherene, Mom, Lloyd and I went to a Kenny Logins Concert! I think Mom was the best dancer of us all! (Sorry Lloyd :) )
I couldn't have a post without some  grand baby picture! Isn't she a doll?  Love that cute little face :)

February Festivities!

February 1st- A nice walk in the snow started out our month. It was beautiful, peaceful, and a perfect way to start our day.
We got out the old toys I saved from when our kids were little for Brooklyn to play with. It was so much fun to see those toys being used again. She was very musical!

Our calving season started with the missionary calf. Cameron's cow had a big bull calf .
We were tending Brooklyn and we decided to go to the park. I am not sure who had the most fun, the grandparents or the grandbaby!
Okay, we may be just a little obsessed with Brooklyn. But she is so darn cute!

President Day Weekend Mason, Miralva, Brooklyn, Casey and Sheralee came to visit. We decided to picnic in Zion!
Our attempts at a selfie :)

February is also ditch cleaning and burning time. Lloyd actually likes it because he get to play with fire!
Sheralee and Casey's cow had a calf at the end of February!
On February 14, 1985 Lloyd and got engaged in the Saint George Temple. I love this time of year because I am so thankful for that event and the impact it has had on my life. After all those years he still brings a smile to my face and warmth in my heart!

A New Year! 2014

Since I am still so far behind I decided to do monthly catch up posts. So this post is dedicated to January. It has actually been kind of fun to be behind because then I go back through the pictures and think about what has happened and I realize that life is good! I am very blessed to have a wonderful husband and family that I love to spend time with. So here is to the month of January!
For Dad's Birthday Mom wanted to go to the temple. It was a great trip and we all felt so close to him. I am so thankful for eternal marriage and my knowledge that I will be with my Dad again.
Mom picked the perfect place to be!
What a great place to be with my eternal sweetheart!
Mason and Miralva had a holiday work party and they asked us to tend. Of course we headed right over to Beaver. We love this little girl.
Oops! She got caught getting into grandma's purse!
Making cookies with grandma!
All ready for Shannon's baby shower!
It is so much fun to buy baby stuff!

The shower was a jungle theme. It was so much fun to plan and to attend.
Isn't she cute?

January was a great month. These last two pictures are because I feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful place. This is a sunset at the end of January out my front door, and the snow on my back deck on January 31st!
